From 7 to October 2013, the second German-Vietnamese Media Dialogue was organized at the Goethe-Institut inHanoion the topic "How is the internet changing the media landscape?”.

The seminar was organized by the Goethe Institute in cooperation with the German Embassy inHanoi. German and Vietnamese journalists had an opportunity to compare the different media landscapes inGermanyandVietnam, to discuss changing demands on the profession of journalism, and to share about economically successful online services as well as their personal experiences with online work.
Another goal is to establish new networks between journalists from both countries, which can be effective beyond the seminar. The first German-Vietnamese Media Dialogue took place in 2011 in Berlin on the topic of environment and climate protection.
