Noted architect releases book
Award-winning architect Vo Trong Nghia will release his new book entitled "Vo Trong Nghia Architects" at Dolphin Plaza, 28 Tran Binh Street, Cau Giay District, on Thursday.
The book features his various works that won prizes overseas, such as Stacking Green in HCM City; House for Trees in HCM City; Farming Kindergarten in the southern province of Dong Nai; and the Bamboo Wing restaurant in the northern province of Vinh Phuc.
Nghia studied architecture at the University of Tokyo, before returning to Viet Nam to establish the Vo Trong Nghia Architects firm in 2006.
He has received numerous international prizes and honours, including the World Architecture Festival Award, ARCASIA award, WAN 21 for 21 Award and the FuturArc Green leadership Award. In 2012, he was named the Architect of the Year in Viet Nam.
On the occasion, Nghia's talk will also include the trend of designing houses in Viet Nam.
